palo santo

Essential oil made from Palo Santo is calming to the immune and nervous systems.

Palo santo has been used in shamanic rituals for centuries in Ecuador and throughout South America. Palo Santo oil can only be extracted when the tree has fallen a natural death and has spent many years on the ground, which could take between 40 and 200 years. It’s revered for its ability to purify and attract positive energy to all it comes into contact with. In addition to clearing energies of people and spaces, ancient cultures used Palo Santo to aid their souls in returning to the spirit world or as protection from evil spirits.

Rich in antioxidants (especially flavonoids), cacao powder and cocoa butter are great for reducing inflammation, preventing acne, and maintaining healthy moisture. It's naturally anti-aging and reduces cellulite in skin.

Cacao's history spans several Latin American civilizations. Cacao is a staple crop that has held a multitude of meanings amongst Mayan cultures: food, medicine, blood, livelihood, an offering, a divine gift. The cacao bean was so significant to the local cultures that it was used as a currency in trade, given to warriors as a post-battle reward, and served at royal feasts.

Coffee grounds are an incredible exfoliant, leaving your skin feeling smooth and soul refreshed. Full of antioxidants and naturally occurring compounds, coffee is naturally anti-aging, anti-microbial, reduces the appearance of cellulite on the skin, and helps with acne.

Ecuadorian coffee is unique in that it grows in both high and low altitude uniting many regions through the Arabica bean. Most coffee in the country is grown on small farms, from 1 to 10 hectares, often co-planted with cacao, citrus fruits, bananas, and/ or mangoes. Due to the increasing adoption and innovation of sustainable practices in the country, we are looking for a coffee bean source from Ecuador.
